Who are we?
SPENGLER GROUP is one of the Frenchleading manufacturers and distributors of medical equipment.
We have a unique expertise which was born in 1907 with the founding of the Spengler company and the invention of the sphygmomanometer. It carried on with the creation of Holtex in 1980. Brought together as one single Group in 2019, Spengler and Holtex offer a very broad and complementary range of more than 2000 products covering most of the needs in the doctor's and nurse’s office and at the patient's bedside (medical diagnostic devices, surgical instruments, medical furniture, emergency equipment, consumables, medical wear and bags).
Cardionet, who joined the group in 2022, is specialized in the distribution of functional exploration devices to private cardiologists and hospitals. Cardionet has also developed a cutting-edge expertise in consulting and support for its customers in the fields of sports, research and cardiac rehabilitation.
In April 2023, the Group acquired 2 companies : DDM and ECM, both French manufacturers. DDM manufactures tourniquets, pressure infusion cuffs, aneroid tensiometers, blood pressure monitors and pressure cuffs, while ECM manufactures warming patients systems.
In June 2024, SPENGLER GROUP takes a European dimension with its alliance with the German company LUXAMED® GmbH Co. KG, expert in lighting for medical diagnosis. LUXAMED® manufactures and commercialises a large range of products: otoscopes, ophthalmoscopes, dermatoscopes and laryngoscopes as well as examination lamps.
SPENGLER GROUP’s presence covers domestic markets (France & Germany) and operates internationally in more than 90 countries.
Spengler
Founded in 1907, Spengler offers a modern and innovative range of products offering healthcare professionals precision, design and comfort (mechanical and electronic sphygmomanometers, stethoscopes, thermometers, oximeters, ECG, monitoring devices etc.)
DDM (Dessillons & Dutrillaux)
Located in Agen (South West of France), DDM manufactures medical devices for doctor’s cabinet (aneroid tensiometers) or for use in hospitals (orthopedic surgery). DDM is the market leader in France for pneumatic tourniquets and pressure cuffs.
ECM
Since 1991 manufacturer in of heating cradles for neonatal units, and heating blankets for patients in operating theatres and recovery rooms. The brand has won numerous awards for both innovation and results.
De Boissy
De Boissy is a brand specialized in medical bags. Since the 1980s, it has been known for its leather doctor's briefcases and then for its light and colorful polyester bags with its very trendy and innovative designs.
